Dear Friends of Manmie Nonotte and Papou AlbertSince the death of our mother in 2004, we have pledged to follow her examples and do the best we can to continue her work. As you know, her mission was always to help those in needs and with your help, blessings and encouragement, she did the best she could to enhance the lives of many children and families in Haiti. Therefore, we have founded on her behalf this non profit organization. It is indicated on records that she had created a school where she fed, dressed up the pupils, provided money for their parents and others to obtain medical care, assist in funeral arrangements and so fourth. Unfortunately, when she became sick, she had to abandon her dreams. While we were celebrating her life in 2004, Fritz Martial stated ‘Do not forget Nonotte’s work, Nonotte’s children’. Since then, we thought about the above assertion; we tried to help but, not to the extent that we would have wanted. Currently, we are taking care of twenty children. Ten of them live with their parents and the other ten reside where our residence was many years ago in Cotes Plages, Haiti. To give you an idea of what we are up to since our mother passed away, let us share with you some of the activities that we directed. One of the children, after his baccalaureate 2nd part attends School Of Ste Trinity to master the skills of becoming an electrician, plumber and ceramic layer. Another one just registered at the Notre Dame University, his discipline is not yet declared and the third one would like to embrace the priesthood. We hope that after they acquired their knowledge, they will help other children and the organization. Instilled the faith, love and hope into those children’s life is not an easy task for us because we are not Manmie Nonotte. However, since she left us, her messages and ideas keep on reverberating in our minds and hearts. We all know that in the past, you extended feelings of comfort and gratitude toward our mother as well as financial contributions which had helped her alleviate the pains and suffering of many families. We hope that it is a comfort to you to know how much we appreciated and still appreciate the love and the friendship that you and our mother enjoyed. Today, we are sure and certain that she is looking over all of us like she looked after us when she was among us. We look forward to including you not only in our prayers but, also in our list of contributors. All contributions are tax deductible. Gratefully yours |
